My wife has hummed this traditional Mexican Christmas Carol as a lullaby for our babies countless times, then later, to lull their babies to sleep too.
As you listen, may it bring you peace and comfort, just as it has for two generations of my family.
"Las Posadas", the title of the carol in Spanish, means "The Inns" and refers to the story of Mary and Joseph seeking in vain an inn for Mary to give birth to Jesus.
Happy Christmas.

We wish you a very prosperous and fulfilling 2009.
Louis
Lovely lullaby, gentle and wistful, so apt for the season.
Ric,
Thanks for your comment.
Is the tradition of Las Posadas popular in Arizona?
It probably is, or a variation thereof: though not in this Show Low neck of the woods.
Ric,
Thanks for the info.
