Our son took four generations of his family to Leavenworth to celebrate Mothers' Day. A Maypole Dance, Bavarian folk music and street dancing greeted us on our arrival there. A wonderful day was capped with German food for lunch and even a touch of winter as we drove through Steven's Pass at an elevation of 4,000 feet on the way home.

Louis, I attended this festival when I was living in Germany in the mid seventies and the German Beer became the fuel for all the energy needed to enjoy the day.
Have a nice day.
Did you try to do some of those dances? If you have pictures of you wearing lederhosen, I've got to see them:)
Yes, Idrus, some German beer went well with our lunch, which we were eating when I took those family pictures towards the end of the video. Unfortunately it was served in American size glasses not those large steins they would have used in your festival in Germany.
I understand there's quite an Oktoberfest annually right there in KL.
Hello Louis,
What a festival ...I've seen few Oktoberfest on Tele and yes ..the flowing beer to makes people very happy. Am amazed at how big the Oktoberfest beer mug is.
RIZAL
Rizal,
You'd be even more amazed at how many of those huge mugs of beer the waitresses at the beer halls can carry at one time, without using trays.
Louis,
Great festival to enjoy. Would love to experience them one day at your place.
Hi Zawi,
I am sure you'll have the opportunity to visit Seattle and I'd be delighted to show you around.
