Hi Louis
Autumn is my favourite season.
I love the colours on the trees.

Hello Fauziah,

It's no wonder Autumn finds its way into so many poems and songs: it is a remarkable season in so many dramatic ways. There are the spectacular colors, but also the noticeably shorter days, the chill winds and rain and very blue sky (when it is visible:) ) all add up to a special closeness to Nature.

Hi louis ,

My last autumn experince was in 1994 in Saskatoon, Canada. It was a memorable experience indeed.

Any interesting autumn related project ??

Those fall colors must have been very pretty in Saskatoon, Rizal. What took you to that part of the world?

Not a specifically Fall related project, but in about two weeks I plan to talk about one in my blog.

Hi Louis,

The 'flaming tree' brings back memories of fall in the New England Hills of Connecticut. My hosts were amused to see me wide-eyed and praising God all the time as they took me for a drive around the hills for the first time. In Malay, I should say I was 'ja-kun' something like ' a hilly-billy'. All those golden, russet, amber, orange even purple colors. Bewitching indeed!

Thanks Louis.

Louis, it do remind me of how wonderful fall is when I was living in Boston, such wonderful color. We do not get it here in the tropic.

Have a nice day.

Puteri Hang Li Poh,

Hello Nazli,

You put that tree in my photo in a new perspective by calling it the "flaming tree".

You have seen the Fall colors in probably the best place to see them in the USA. Americans go there on tours from all over the country specifically for that spectacle. There are even "Fall Foliage" cruises to that area.

Hi Pak Idrus,

Nice thing about the tropics though is that there are such vivid colors all year round. I don't know if Malaysia has them, but in Trinidad there is a kind of forest tree that turns completely bright yellow at a certain time of the year. You can see them from miles away among the other trees on the hillsides.

That said, Fall colors are really an awesome sight. Glad you experienced it in Boston.
