Louis, I am glad the cougar was captured without any mishap both to human and the cougar itself. now with a tracking collar it will be easy to track him. Thanks to modern technology.
From the beginning of the search for the cougar there were no plans to kill it. The plan was to track it down, tranquilize it and release it into the wild, and that is exactly what was done. People in this Washington State tend to be very committed to human and animal rights.
